In this mixed media artwork, I explore Batroun’s rich maritime heritage through a rusted fish trap, worn by the Mediterranean's saltwater. This trap symbolizes the deep-rooted bond between humanity and the sea, with seaweed bait inside reflecting the delicate balance between tradition and nature. The vibrant turquoise background evokes the profound depths of the sea, while the rusted iron and seaweed represent the timeless interaction between human craftsmanship and the natural world.
