I created this artwork of Avenue Mont-Royal in Montreal on a rainy day to capture the essence of my daily journey. This avenue, a familiar path I walk almost every day for work, transforms in the rain, revealing a unique, melancholic beauty. The umbrellas, wet streets, and muted colors evoke a sense of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. It reflects my connection to this place, blending routine with the unexpected charm of a rainy day. The rain feels like my teardrops when I cry because I miss my hometown in Lebanon, making this piece a deeply personal expression of my emotions and memories.
