Mont-Royal's Nocturnal Blues

I created this artwork as a tribute to the vibrant energy of Avenue Mont-Royal, a place that feels like the heartbeat of Montreal. Using a mix of media, I captured the dynamic interplay of lights, colors, and movement that I experience whenever I walk down this street at night. The glowing buildings, the blur of people passing by, and the deep blue of the evening sky all come together to evoke the lively, yet somewhat nostalgic atmosphere that I feel here. It’s a reflection of the moments when the city feels most alive, and I wanted to translate that into a visual expression that resonates with the same intensity and emotion.

This piece is a single edition, measuring 34 x 42 inches. It is printed using Giclee printing with Pigment ink on a Premium Fine Art Matte Canvas 410g/m², mounted on custom-made stretched canvases with 1.5-inch thick wood for a true gallery look. The materials and techniques used are designed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements, ensuring consistency of shades for up to 200 years.
